Designing interesting things

Finding interesting things to design or redesign can be an oversight- a first world problem indeed. However, finding people to design for - regardless of where you are can be an interesting one. You won't always have readily available tools and resources which can make the deign prototyping interesting and tell a bit about the product you design. Often I think of the needs of my grandmother and my mom. What they need and go through and would need through out their day. How do they try and adapt to their surroundings? What do they adjust to make better for themselves while working? These are great insights to take from and apply to designing products.
