Without the right words (day 2)
It's only fitting to keep the last post and this one separate as they can both be a stand alone. Sean's title is a good one and I think they would work together, "Why you don't have to come up with the right words". However the content and the questions - they don't fit together - or at least I couldn't come up with a way to merge the two and answer the question prompts together.
Originally, I started posting on this blog again to see where it will take me.
Below I have also answered the writing prompts for today:
What is one of your favorite things to do outside of work when you have free time?
Drawing and reading. Drawing allows me to give form to the things that exist in my head. Reading gives me access to other people's wisdom and insights. Combine the two and the imagery is endless. I've always been a book worm. I remember when I first learned how to read too. My mom and brother were taken away!!What do you enjoy most about this activity?Hmm guess I jumped the gun and kind of answered it in the previous question. Drawing takes discipline. it takes time to master. often times I feel guilty doing it because "it comes easy". My drawing classes were the ones that I never had an issue pulling all-night-ers while on the phone with my cousin. As for reading, its also a guilty pleasure. I enjoy learning. Reading and art is a combination of taking direction and imploring curiosity. Why have you not dedicated more time to this activity?I can give every excuse in the book. Simply put, I haven't dedicated the time to do it.Do you think that’s a good excuse? No. Here's the BUT - but I do think its something many people can relate to. Main one, "not enough time". But I already know - you have to give up a few things to get "more time".What do you purpose to do differently or sacrifice so that you can spend more time doing the things you enjoy?I'm working on making an hourly schedule and to chain events along with it. I'll keep you posted.
