My testimony

If you could have any super power what would it be and why? I would choose to have the power of healing people because I hate to see people suffer from sickness. Growing up I thought my mom was superwoman and I thought she could do anything. She made herself available for the family and was always solving everyones problems. So seeing her being able to do practically anything made me believe I could do anything too. It made me feel like I was a superwoman too. However, eventually I came across problems that I couldn’t solve on my own and I needed help. My mom couldn’t solve these problems either. I realized that she wasn’t superwoman and that she could only do so much. I realized that I was missing something in my life. I remember one day in choir rehersal when my director was tellin us we were missing something. We need to feel the words we were singing. I realized while I thought my mom was superwoman the true superhero was Jesus. He willed to lay down his life, though I am unworthy - all because he loves me.

Do you feel like you need to be saved from anything? Or what do you think of as Jesus being a superhero?
